The Iowa Gourd Society, Sigma Chapter of the American Gourd Society  was organized in September 1999.  Our Mission: The purpose of the  Society shall be to band together those persons who are interested in  horticulture, education, culture, uses, history and/or crafting of  gourds.

Our Chapter meets the third Saturday of the months, March (optional),  May, July, Sept, and Nov.  More information can be found on the " Meetings" page.
