Patches 

•  Point Sauble Gourders -- October Meeting. Point Sauble Gourders met October 9th and made gourd pumpkins. It was a great time. The November meeting will be Gourd Turkeys.

  
• Gordeous Gourding Gals -- Well, the GGG met today to try gold leafing.  Debi was not able to join us this time.  We watched Maria Dellios dvd on gold leafing that was borrowed from Rita and she made it look super easy.  We started out thinking we could master this technique but it is way harder than it looks..lots of flaking and areas that did not take the gold leaf.  After many attempts we were somewhat pleased with our results and we chalked it up to "practice makes perfect"!  Give yourself lots of time and patience to do this one, it is tough!  Next attempt will be rainsticks and we are excited about that!
    
• Arbor Country Gourders -- next meeting is on the first Saturday in November at the District Library in Paw Paw.  ALL ARE WELCOME!
