Cucurbita or Lagenaria?
Cucurbita and Lagenaria belong to the same family, Cucurbitaceae, but different tribes. Cucurbita are the squash, pumpkins and ornamental gourds, where as examples of the lagenaria include the bottle gourd and hard-shelled gourds of many, many shapes and sizes.
