Former Chapter of AGS
NYSGS has merged with PA Gourd Society

As the old saying goes, when one door closes another door opens.

The Executive Board of NYSGS met on Monday, April 19th to discuss our dwindling membership and long-term plans for our chapter.  With thoughtful discussion and consideration, the board unanimously voted to merge with the Pennsylvania Gourd Society and become their 4th patch.

Current members of the NYSGS will automatically become members of the PAGS until June 2022.  As a member of PAGS you’ll receive quarter newsletters, be eligible for early registration for classes at the PAGS Festival and eligible to pre-pre-register for and participate in PA chapter workshops.

As a patch, we will gather more informally to share projects and techniques approximately once every three months.
