THEMES ... Plan Ahead!

The theme for WINTER 2023 is “Collaborative Adventures” Entry deadline is October 15th
***This contest is an exception to our usual rules, and is the only time a collaborative piece made by one or more artists will be allowed.***
  • The entry must be a collaboration between two or more artists, (such as husband and wife, 2 or more crafting friends, or a piece made by a patch or a chapter).
  • There is no specific theme, it just has to be a collaborative creation.
  • One person should be in charge of sending in the required entry information, including the names of all involved, stating if it was a family or friends or gourd club project, and a good photo of the piece.
  • This is the only issue where collaborative pieces will be accepted, so the prizes will be just a bit different.

The theme for Spring 2024 is Birdhouses: functional or decorative. Entry deadline is January 15, 2024
HOW TO ENTER
Submit the following to Bonnie Gibson at bonniegibsonart@gmail.com
  • ONE photo (JPG or PNG attachment
  • Brief Bio of artist
  • Entry Information
  • Include "Crafting Contest Entry" in subject of email

Why Enter?
  • The first-place winner will receive a free 1-year membership extension of their AGS membership
  • All winners will also receive a digital copy of the magazine for sharing with family and friends.
  • In addition, the first-place artist will be profiled in a feature article the following issue.
  • *Note: First place winners may only win one membership prize during a 12-month period.
  • After two (2) first place wins, the entrant will be asked to be a judge instead of an entrant.
