THEMES ... Plan Ahead!

The theme for Summer 2026 is “Gourd Sculptures 2”
(NOTE: We are repeating this theme, as an incorrect submission date for the Fall ’25 contest had been
listed in a previous article, and we don’t want to eliminate those who entered late due to our error!
Sculptures that were previously judged in the Fall issue contest will not be judged again, but we will
accept new entries from everyone!)

For this contest, the entry should be made from 3 or more gourds and/or gourd pieces. (Entry Deadline - April 15)

The theme for FALL 2026 is
  Focus on Woodburning/Pyrography.
Show us your burning chops and submit a piece where pyrography is the predominant feature. Color and accessories can be included, but the woodburning is what the judges will be looking for.
(Entry Deadline - July 15)
