Jim Story Award: Single Manipulated Gourds

I used the "Rope Technique" on a gourd growing on my arbor. I started at the ball end of the qourd and wrapped a rope around the ball and up the handle. After winding the rope around the qourd I put tension on the rope so the gourd would grow the way I wanted it to grow. I adjusted the tension on the rope for 4 days. I continued to check the tension on the rope regularly to be sure the tension stayed the same.
The challenge was finding the "right" gourd that was plyable enought to be manipulated in this manner.
