Jim Story Award: Single Manipulated Gourds

This entry was grown on an arbor. I wrapped a piece of T-shirt material around the ball and tied that in place then tied a rope to it and slowly twisted this gourd around a piece of PVC pipe, tying it off on a new location twice each day.
The biggest challenge was that this was clear at the top of the arbor requiring me to climb and stand on ladder each time I needed to work on the gourd.
